Flashing my colours at Food in a Flash

Another day in paradise in chilly O-town! This morning I was greeted by my keeper and her helper for a morning walk in the chilly air of Orange. I am enjoying a sunny position at Food in a Flash, on Sale Street. I have even had cheers and beeps from passing cars. On the menu today are lots of delectable treats prepared by Stuart & Fiona, the cafe owners. The question has been asked of me as to the whereabouts of my wings... It really is difficult maintaining my image of the Dairy Tooth Fairy, without wings. I wonder how my permanent wings are progressing? I am promised that the next art project at Orange Grammar is going to be plaster wings for me. I really cannot wait to see them! They could come in handy during my stay at Food in a Flash - it is one thing to have wheels, but wings would make this fairy fly!!

Indulging with Red Chilli Deli

It is with great surprise that I find myself in the most beautiful north facing, sunny spot in a deli called Red Chilli Deli. Even though I am a bovine, I am finding the warmth and smell of the deli.... devine! I have turned a blind eye to the meat products here, and am feeling quite comfortable. The girls are SO friendly - just makes me want to stay for a cuppa!! That would be very indulgent of me, wouldn't it?

ABC with Boomers

I had a really lovely day, today in Boomers Bookshop, in the Orange City Centre. Although it was a very peaceful day, I enjoyed watching over the children's section, very much. There was alot of talk about the recent 'visit' of Julia Donaldson’s The Gruffalo ... 'What is a Gruffalo?' I wonder. It would be great if I could read, as the humans seem to get so much enjoyment out of it. It left me wondering if the pink glasses I wore at Young Eyes would be of any use to me. The highlight of my day was a very nice man in the City Centre commenting on how beautiful I am. He called me Daisy! What a lovely name for such a bright cow.

Feeling Energized

After a very hectic week, I find myself in the most beautiful cafe, full of friendly childen who give me pats and hugs. I am at Energize Cafe in the Wellness Centre, where I will be grazing for 3 days. I do like the look of the human menu here - no rump steaks to be worried about! I quite like the look of the 'superfood salad' and also the 'energise salad'. Fancy -  catering for a vegetarian like me! I feel energized already! Here is a picture of me wearing a chef's apron.

Balancing the books with Mark Byrnes & Co

I find myself saying once again that the weather's fresian out here!! I am in an udderly delightful paddock with Mark Byrnes & Co. They are working with me to provide a strategy that meets my financial objectives..... apparently they are having terribull trouble finding an Australian owned dairy company - not even Dairy Farmers, National Foods or Parmalat are owned by Australians! What is the world coming to? I am quitely hoping that I am not up for any 'manual adjustments' or other 'creative accounting' procedures that I hear accountants refer to. I, personally, think that I am very well adjusted.... creative as I am!

Mootiful Eyes at Young Eyes

Yesterday, I had a very different experience, and found myself in the shopfront of Young Eyes, on the main street of Orange.  Before I was put into my paddock, however, I went through an eye test with the very caring Leesa Jagers. She explained to me that my eye health was very important while I am a young bovine, even though there are many optical solutions available these days. Although a little apprehensive, my testing was completely pain free. My eyes were found to be clear of macular degeneration, glaucoma and cataracts. I am now the proud owner of a very flash pair of pink sunglasses, as Leesa is very worried about the glare when mooching in my paddocks. My glasses will even get an ultrasonic cleaning and service after 12 months of wearing. I am very much looking forward to visiting the girls at Young Eyes again, as I particularly love the view from my paddock. Here is a picture of me saying goodbye to some of the staff.

Moove over Hoggy - Picowso is here

What a great Mothers Day I have had with Carolyn and her gang at Hogs Breath Cafe - no barbecow here!! I mooved around the restaurant and got lots of pats and cuddles. I have disappointed a few small humans however, because I did not let down any milk - not even strawberry milk! How confusing for them!! I am pictured here in prime position, getting first glance of all visitors as they enter the restraurant. I have had another thought about my career whilst staying at Hoggys -  a racing bovine! Carolyn is proud to say that she is the first person to ride me.... I didn't even blink an eyelid. Happy Mother's Day, Carolyn, and thanks for having me!
